It is cold outside and time to snuggle by the fire with some knitting.
I always strive for more quality merchandise and am delighted to have extended the collection with Plant Dyed yarns in pure wool skeins from Germany in 21 lovely fine colours suitable to knit doll clothing matching to needle size 3 mm. Of course these yarns can also be used for children and adult knitting projects (see chapter: Plantaardig geverfde garens/Plant Dyed yarns).
The Artesano Superwash Baby Merino in 6 colours based on needle size 4 mm has been in stock since short. A pattern booklet is available for this baby cardigan both in English and Dutch (see chapter: Artesano Superwash Baby Merino).
The multicolored Fortissima Socka by Schoeller and Stahl suitable for knitting socks has already been available for some time. These lovely knitted gloves are worth drawing attention to. A ball of 100 grams is sufficient for a pair of gloves. Just knit in simple knit stitch and the pattern will create itself. The pattern of these gloves is provided for free on purchase of the yarn. The yarn comes in two shades: soft tone mos green and brown and denim blue and brown tones (see chapter: Sokkenwol/wol/borduurgarens/ Sock knitting yarns/embroidery threads).

Many of you who have visited my store might have noticed that the selection of articles is broader than the online shop provides. I am still continuing to add items and eventually hope to have the full collection on the website.
An item which has only just been included and as from now to be purchased through the online shop is the 100% woollen felt, nice to use for e.g. season table decoration, doll shoes or (hair) decoration. There is a variety of 75 colors and they come in pieces measuring 8 x 12 inches/20 x 30 cm. Some colors are temporarily available in 8 x 8 inches/20 x 20 cm pieces.
Larger pieces of your choice can be ordered at special request (see chapter: Wollen vilt/Woolen Felt).

Buiten is het koud, tijd om gezellig bij de open haard te gaan breien.
Ik streef steeds naar meer kwaliteitsartikelen en ben heel blij mijn collectie te hebben kunnen uitbreiden met de nieuwe plantaardig geverfde 100% wollen strengen garens uit Duitsland in 21 subtiele kleuren geschikt om poppenkleertjes te breien met naald nr. 3. Uiteraard kan dit garen ook worden gebruikt voor kinder- en volwassenkleding (zie hoofdstuk: Plantaardig geverfde garens).
De Artesano Baby Merino in 6 kleuren voor pen nr. 4 is sinds kort verkrijgbaar. Patroonboekje van afgebeeld babyjasje is verkrijgbaar in Engels en Nederlands (zie hoofstuk: Artesano Superwash Baby merino).
De multi gekleurde Fortissima Socka van Schoeller en Stahl geschikt voor het breien van sokken is al een poos verkrijgbaar. Deze mooie gebreide handschoenen mogen best onder de aandacht worden gebracht. Een bolletje van 100 gram is ruim voldoende voor een paar handschoenen. Gewoonweg breien met de rechte steek en het patroon komt vanzelf. Patroon van deze handschoenen is gratis bij aankoop van dit garen. Deze garens zijn in 2 kleur varianten leverbaar, in zachte tinten mosgroen en bruin en in de kleur jeansblauw en zacht bruin (zie hoofdstuk: Sokkenwol/Wol/Borduurgarens).

Velen van jullie die in de winkel geweest zijn zullen wel hebben opgemerkt dat de selectie aan artikelen breeder is dan op de webwinkel verkrijgbaar is. Ik ben nog steeds bezig artikelen op de website te plaatsen en hoop uiteindelijk de complete collectie te hebben verwerkt.
Een nieuw artikel dat pas geplaatst is zijn de 100% wollen viltlapjes. Leuk te gebruiken voor bijvoorbeeld de seizoentafel, poppenschoentjes of (haar)decoraties.
Er is een diversiteit van 75 kleuren en de lapjes meten 20 x 30 cm. Bepaalde kleuren zijn tijdelijk alleen in een kleiner formaat, nl. 20 x 20 cm verkrijgbaar.
Grotere lapjes naar keuze zijn verkrijgbaar, maar moeten van tevoren worden opgevraagd (zie hoofdstuk: Wollen vilt).
Vanaf dit jaar zullen afgeprijsde artikelen worden aangekondigd in de Nieuwsbrief.

1. Verrassingspakket garens geschikt om poppenpruikjes te borduren of te haken. Een zak bevat ongeveer 200 gram garen in verschillende kleuren. Het zijn pakjes met een mix van bolletjes in 30 of 50 gram. Elk pakket is anders van samenstelling. Ideaal voor ieder die zich graag laat verrassen. Het zelfmaakpakket Kleine Gijs en Gijs met stekeltjeskapsel vervalt uit de collectie en wordt vervangen door het pakket Kleine Gijs en Gijs met gehaakt kapsel.
